Brisco Road Interchange Project

The Brisco Road-Halcyon Road/US 101 Interchange project has been underway 
since the late 1990's. Currently the project is in the Project Approval and Environmental 
Determination (PA&ED) phase with three project alternatives under review, as highlighted below: 

The First Alternative:

  • Closes the northbound on and off-ramps at Brisco Road and US 101
  • Completes intersection improvements Camino Mercado and US 101
  • Completes intersection improvements at north and southbound ramps at Grand Ave and US 101
  • Completes bridge widening on Grand Ave
  • Estimated cost $14,000,000
  • 1st Alternative
  • Undercrossing Exhibit
The Second Alternative:

  • Relocates the northbound ramps at Brisco to West Branch Street at Rodeo Drive
  • Completes intersection improvements at Grace Lane and Rodeo Drive
  • Completes intersection improvements at southbound ramp at Grand Ave and US 101
  • Estimated cost $23,000,000
  • 2nd Alternative

The Third Alternative:

  • No build
Current Status:

  • Public workshop regarding environmental documents was held on April 26th, 2018.
  • Public comments are currently under review and are expected to be completed February 2019.
  • Anticipate Council action on selected alternative in early 2019.
